Obituary of Bobby Boatwright

Bobby Boatwright, age 70 of 207 Sugar Fork Road, Cumberland, Virginia entered eternal rest Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
He was born in Buckingham, Virginia on March 22, 1941 to Andy and Kish Woodson Boatwright. Bobby was converted and baptized into the fellowship of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
He was educated in Bon Brook Public School System in Cumberland, Virginia, but had to leave at an early age to help support his family.
In 1963, he was joined in wedlock to Josephine Foster, from this union two children were born. His wife preceded him in death.
In 1970 he became self-employed as a logger; which he continued until his health failed.
Bobby was affectionately know as "Soul Brother". He was a friendly person who loved to be in the presence of others. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memories; his son, Casey Boatwright; his daughter, Macey Payne (Thomas); two grandchildren, Victoria and Junius McFarley, Jr.; one brother, Ernest Boatwright; five sisters-in-law, Willie Sue Boatwright-Poole(Alfred), Eva Boatwright, Mary Boatwright, Mary Allen (Joe) and Lottie Davenport (William); three brothers-in-law, Avon Foster, Lester Foster, and James Foster; many nephews, one devoted, Ervin Boatwright, Jr., many nieces and a host of other relatives and friends, one devoted, Earl Johnson.
