Obituary
Jordan Taylor Rice was born on January 8, 1992, to Patricia Rice and Barry Walton in Richmond, VA. Jordan accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized in Rocky Point, NC, at an early age. Jordan graduated from Cumberland High School class of 2012.
Jordan was a devoted mother to her children. She loved to make them laugh with her wittiness and adventures. One of Jordan's favorite things to do was parachuting. She worked hard to provide for her children so they could have a life of comfort and would often send Door Dash meals to them. Jordan enjoyed baking, her favorite meal plans was spaghetti and Chinese food.
Jordan expressed her love for others with her creativity and she loved to express herself through singing as the sound of her voice was unique and beautiful. Jordan enjoyed being inspirational and bringing light into dark places. Jordan was unselfish and always put others first. She will be remembered as someone who always served others.
Jordan went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 7, 2024, in a fatal car accident in Powhatan, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Walton and grandparents, William Walton, Sr., and Shirley Walton.

A million words cannot express,
As we come together to lay you at rest.
It is truly now your time to Rise,
Into the promise land in the skies.
Heaven's doors are open wide,
Enjoy your time at our Saviors side.
As you begin walking into the new,
We'll remain here until we are with you.
Soon again we will see your face,
As we pray and waiting this grace.
The joy and laughter as you hear the angels sing.
Brings comfort to our hearts knowing you're with the King.
Welcome to the promised land!
The reason why the cross did stand.
Our beloved Jordan we will meet again.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print. Text that is to appear on web must be entered before this line)
