Obituary of Doctor "Dock" Trent

Doctor Trent affectionally known as "Dock" was born on July 6, 1951, to Edmond and Mattie Hobson Trent in Cumberland, Virginia. He attended school in Cumberland County Virginia. Dock was a hard worker and throughout his life he held various jobs with different companies. Dock enjoyed fishing, cleaning, cooking, and sharing his catch, planting, and attending to his flower garden. He was a handyman and often did carpentry and yard work. He liked to dance and often attended dance functions. He was fun and always had something funny to say. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He never met a stranger. Dock always had a smile on his face. Dock loved spending time with his family and friends. He will truly be missed by his three devoted buddies, Robert Lee Carter, Bo, and Albert Trent. They gave him rides daily. He departed this life on March 28, 2022, at his home with his brother by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dan Trent. He leaves to cherish fond memories, bother, Tommie Trent (Bertha); one aunt; a host of relatives and friends.
