Obituary of Warren Lee Rose

Warren Lee Rose was born on July 14, 1953 to Josephine Rose and Tommy Woodson of Buckingham County, Virginia. He departed this life on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA. He attended Buckingham County Public Schools. He was baptized at Petersville Baptist Church at an early age. He was united in marriage to Frances Brown Rose on September 6, 1978. They spent 42 beautiful years together. From this union, they were blessed with four sons. Warren was a truck driver for more than 30 years, most recently employed by C.P. Anderson Trucking, until his health began to decline. Warren enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved working around the house and fixing up things. He was a hardworking man of few words with a gentle soul. He was always ready to lend a hand to help whenever he could. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Rose; father, Tommy Woodson; sister, Carol Rose and one son, Jermineda Brown. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife and caregiver, Frances Rose; three devoted sons, Leroy Brown (Nannette), Kenneth Brown (Anjeannette) and Bryan Rose (Ebony); a daughter, Vernon Henderson; seventeen grandchildren; one nephew, Russell Gray, Jr.; one brother-in-law, Raymond Brown, Sr. (Caroline); four sisters-in-law, Margaret Brown, Carrie Giles, Bernetta Crump, and Ruth Hampton and a host of cousins and friends.
