Earl Daniel Royall was born May 30, 1967, in Cumberland County to the late Frank and Mary A. Royall. Earl had 6 siblings who preceded him in death. On September 29th he departed this life peacefully to be with the Lord. Earl attended Cumberland County Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1985. He furthered his education by earning 3 associate degrees from: Kee Business College, New York Restaurant School and SCS Business Institute. Earl joined Petersville Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until his death. He served on the Senior Choir, Male Chorus, a Trustee, a Member of the Food Committee (currently President), and he founded the Seniors Life Ministry. Earl was ordained as a Deacon in April 2, 2005. He loved the Lord and his church family. He had a special relationship with his Pastor, who he called, "Bishop" and Lady B. He was known as their personal chef. God gave Earl special talents to cook and serve, which he used to the fullest. Some his specialties were carving roast beef, carving and displaying fruit displays and making desserts. His love for God spilled over into his daily walk in life. You could see him out and about and he would give you a cake or pie. Deacon Royall provided daily motivational messages to his siblings. Some of his favorite sayings were, "Count on God, God's got it and Hallelujah Anyhow." Earl was the family Historian and reunited relatives on both sides of the family. He was a "Chef" and he held various jobs to include: Patient Services Manager at Memorial Regional Medical Center, Interim Manager, Nutrition Services at Richmond Community Hospital and St. Francis Hospitals, and Dining Manager at Elk Hill Farm, Inc. to name a few. He owned and operated A Special Delight Restaurant & Catering in Cumberland, VA with his Brother-in-Law, David Sims, while holding down his own business. He owned and operated "Royall's Catering – Dining with Royalty." He had a dedicated crew of people who worked with him over the years and knew, "everything had to be perfect." Earl was loved and supported by his community and various churches. Princess, Xaivia and Danielle are the three beautiful daughters who were his heaven right here on earth. Earl loved his daughters and shared a very special and close relationship with them. He went above and beyond to take care of his girls; his family meant everything to him.
