Obituary of Daniel Reddick Burgess

Mr. Daniel (Chuckie) Burgess was born on June 1, 1968 in Long Branch, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Floyd and Vivian Burgess. He leaves to cherish his memories, son Devin Burgess; sister, Estell Dickerson; brother, Scott Burgess; aunts, Mrs. Kate Brown, and Mrs. Earlene Wilson; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Chuckie graduated from Powhatan High School, class of 1988. He worked various jobs. Chuckie had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyway. God Took Him to His Loving Home God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be He wrapped him in his loving arms and whisper "Come with me," He suffered much in silence; his spirit did not bend. He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. He tried so hard to stay with us, but his fight was not in vain, God took him to his loving home and freed him from the pain.
