Obituary of Edward Soloman Bartee

Edward "Eddie" Solomon Bartee, Jr, son of Edward and Alberta Holman Bartee was born on December 8, 1973 in Farmville, Virginia.
At an early age, Edward was converted, baptized and joined Zion Baptist Church. He attended Cumberland Public Schools. He formerly worked for Team Fishel as Foreman for many years until he resigned.
Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing and Disc Jockey. He fostered numerous friendships within the community with his great sense of humor. When he wasn't working or spending time with his family, he would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He loved to cook on the grill when he had family outings. His favorite football team was the Baltimore Ravens.
On Friday, July 26, 2019 he departed this life at his Cumberland residence.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted partner, Sharita Harvey; parents, Edward Solomon, Sr. and Alberta Holman Bartee; four daughters, Shamoni Bartee, Nakyra Bartee, Lakyra Bartee, and Emoni Watson; four sisters, Teresa Jackson (Ervin), Gloria Bartee, Donna Hubbard (Lionel), and Marion Simpson; five aunts, Fannie Hill (James), Odell Holman, Virginia Holman, Ruth Booker, and Marian Hughes; three uncles, Joe Bartee, Percy Holman (Alma), and James Holman (Alberta); two nieces; one nephew; and a host of cousins and friends; Seven devoted friends; Thomas, Michael, Elijah, Alvin, Dane, Keith and Buck.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye, you were Gone before we knew it, And only God knows why.
