Obituary of Marie Rose Fuseymore

Marie Rose Fuseymore, daughter of the late Clayton Fuseymore, Sr. and Grace Hamilton Fuseymore, was born September 30, 1948. Marie accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church. She attended Cumberland County Public Schools. After graduating, she went to the Job Corps. Marie then found employment with the United States Post Office in Hackensack, New Jersey. Years later, she came back home to Cartersville, Virginia. In November 1984. Marie gave birth to a daughter, Kimberly. In December 2010, she moved to Powhatan County, where she lived with Clayton, Jr. and his family. Marie was a very quiet person, who did not complain even in her moments of sickness. On Thursday, February 21, 2019, she departed this life at the Envoy at the Meadows in Goochland, Virginia, after battling cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Bertina Fuseymore. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her daughter, Kimberly; grandchildren, Monica and Michael; brothers, Clayton, Jr. (devoted), Clyde (Jean), Eugene, and Kenny; sisters, Ruby and Jeanne, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
