When my wife, our daughter and I first arrived on Channing Street more than 30 years ago, Mr. Watson was the first person to welcome us to the block. Whenever I would be outside working in the yard and he would pass by on his daily walks, he would stop and talk about many things. He was always the same, both he and Mrs. Watson. For many years he and Mr. Washington were the corner stones of our block. We have missed both he and Mrs. Watson since the move. Every day as we pass the house, we are always thinking about the 2 of them. He can now continue to take his daily walks. Our prayers and condolences to Mrs. Watson and the Family.

Although we only knew Paul for less than 2 years, we have enjoyed having the Watson's as neighbors. Paul would sit outside frequently during nice weather. Our dog, Willow, liked to climb up on their porch and receive a friendly pat on the head from Paul. We will miss him, and we want Ophelia and the family members to know we are only too happy to assist Ophelia when a need arises.
