Obituary of Kevin Arnez Childress
Please share a memory of Kevin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kevin Arnez Childress, son of Deaconess Gracie Childress and the late Deacon Junius Childress was born on October 26, 1968 in Cumberland, Virginia.
At an early age he was converted, baptized and joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
"Bo" as he was affectionately known to many, graduated from Cumberland County High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Powhatan County National Guard Engineering Infantry, where he served five years.
Kevin was employed with the Department of Corrections, where he was promoted to Sergeant at Dillwyn Correctional Center in Dillwyn, Virginia.
Kevin met the love of his life Wanda, while in high school. After a long courtship and five proposals later; she told him when she was ready, she would propose to him. The rest is history!
