Obituary of Mary Allen

Mary Trent Allen gracefully entered, into eternity rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Daughter of Franklin and Pauline Trent, she was born on July 28, 1959 in Cumberland, VA. Mrs. Allen received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age, was baptized and became a member of Reed Rock Baptist Church in Amelia, VA. She was united in holy matrimony to Adolphus Allen on September 6, 2008. She was a devoted wife who worked at Capitol Linen (A.K.A) Mats for you for 22 years in Richmond, VA. She was known to be the best cake maker in town; "try this" … Her favorite saying was look at me "I am the Queen" of this family, A.K.A "Michelle Obama" She was dedicated to her ministry on the usher board and was a lady of many hats in her church. Her Favorite chapter in the bible Ezekiel 37:3 "And he said unto me, Son of man can these bones live?" Mary leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Adolphus Allen and one-stepdaughter, Kierra Holman. A loving and devoted mom and dad, Franklin and Pauline Trent. Sisters: Sandra Gray (Everett); Paulette Woodson (David); Doris Yarborough (Gary); Arlene Johnson (Arthur); Brother: Samuel Trent (Meta), Sisters-in-law: Virginia Allen; Debra William (Roderick); Sheila Bartley (Morris)Portia Allen, and Cartreia Wright; Brothers-in-law: Carlton Allen (Mattie), Brightwell Allen, Aunts: Sallie Sanderson, Lola Bartee, and Beulah Trent; Uncles: Jacob Hill (Katherine) and Glen Hill. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lastly, one Goddaughter Ruby Yarborough. Special thanks to Frances Montague, Felicia Carter, Cartreia Wright, Melissa Gray, Sheila Connor, Monique Booker, Lauraann Langhorne, Angelena Gray, Debra Williams, Everett Gray and Karen Hurt for their dedication of love to Mary.
