Obituary of Doralene Sadler

Doralene Trent Sadler, daughter of the late Alice Trent and John Trent, was born on September 2, 1961 in Cumberland, Virginia. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church. Doralene was joined in wedlock to Charles Sadler on September 27, 2003 and they spent 14 loving years together. Doralene was employed with Knowledge Beginning Daycare with the help of a special friend, Connie Smith ,and she spent many years at her job cooking and spoiling the children. She enjoyed dancing, and being with family and friends. On September 22, 2017, Doralene was called to rest at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend she will truly be missed by many. She leaves many to cherish great memories: her husband, Charles Sadler; two children, Rodney Mitchell and Shamika Fife (Timothy); three grandsons, Kayne Mitchell, Ty'Veon Goodwin, and TayShjon Goodwin; three brothers, John Trent (Mary), David Trent (Karolee), and Theodore (Juanita); six sisters, Mary Clements, Sarah Langhorn (Larry), Arneal Green (Ike), Eunice Bullock (Sam), Lillian Green (Morris), and Ruby Edward (Ray); four devoted friends, Connie Smith, Sharyn Brown, Shirley Bolling, and Rebecca Young; a devoted stepfather, Anderson Pervall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. "The Broken Chain" We little know that morning that God was going to call your name In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone For part of us went with you the day God called you home You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide and Though we cannot see you, you are always at our side Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one the Broken Chain will link again. ~We love you.
