Obituary of Linda Juanita Berry

On December 7, 1950 Linda Juanita Jenkins Berry was born to Lorenzo and Elizabeth Hudson Jenkins in Richmond, Virginia. Linda accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She might not have attended church a lot but she still served her Heavenly Father at home. Linda was a wonderful mother and loving person to be around. She loved to read, cook, plant flowers, do crossword puzzle and drink coffee. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unconditional. Linda's greatest joy was to see them come through the door. Some called her Granny and others called her a role model and mother figure. You could count on her sound advice and words of wisdom. You always knew that you were loved because she never failed to say "love you" when you were leaving. Our hearts were saddened on Saturday, December 5, 2015 when our beloved, Linda at the age of 64 departed this life in Powhatan. She was preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo Jenkins and sister, Helen M. Berry. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Mandy Scott, Camelia Watson, Erica Martin, Anita Berry, Tango Berry and Tabitha Berry; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her mother, Elizabeth Jenkins; a brother, Lorenzo Jenkins (Gail); two nephews, Mike Berry and Phillip Berry; three aunts; one devoted uncle, Red Hudson, along with a host of cousins and friends, one devoted friend, Mattie Moore.
