I remember John well. When my husband was president of the University of Richmond I looked forward with pleasure to the many times that John came to the house to do electrical work. He always repaired the problems perfectly. But even better he was patient and kind. I will never forget what a lovely person he was. I'm grateful for his many years of service to the University. He will always be remembered with fondness.

John, I will always appreciate the support you gave me over the years when I was new to this business and didn't know a volt from a watt. You were a great teacher to many. I'll always remember too you and Earl doing electrical work at my house. You were always so patient with Earl-:) What a pair y'all were. You will be missed my friend. Words couldn't even begin to describe how much my grandfather meant to me. He was one of the most loving, caring and definitely hard working men ever. Life without him will definitely not be the same. Not only was he my grandfather, he was the only father that I've ever known. I will definitely miss him and all the memories we had. He loved his family very much because when I was working and didn't have a ride, my grandfather would make a way and come get me. And that's just one of the things that he's done for me. Im happy that I had the honor of knowing him for 18 years and that he's not in anymore pain. So for now this is not a goodbye, but a see you later. Fly high my angel. R.I.P Papa

Grandfather by Unknown Author Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night. Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight. I am at peace, my soul's at rest There is no need for tears. For with your love I was so blessed. For all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, The fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts, In your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath Remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death, But celebrate my life.
