Demetrio Omar Woodson "Meek" was born March 3, 1982. He was the oldest of four children to be reared by Catherine Woodson and jerry Lee.
At an early age he gave his life to Christ. He was baptized and joined Petersville Baptist Church in New Canton. Virginia. Where his membership remained.
He also attended Saint Pauls Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia and First Baptist Church in Manikin, Virginia. Meek attended the public schools of Cumberland County and Hermitage High School in Henrico County.
Meek was a very loving person with a big heart. He touched many lives and left a mark in the hearts of all that he developed a relationship with. He had an outgoing personality and loved detailing cars, being outdoors, and zebra cakes.
In 2003 he became a proud father to his oldest son, Daelyn Maleek Harper with Demetria Harper of Buckingham County.
On New Year's Day 2011 he joined in Holy Matrimony with Crystal Snead. Together they celebrated the birth of two children, Christian Omarion Woodson "Luva" and Paris Nicole Woodson "Mama".
Despite being ill with Sickle Cell and Cancer, Meek was a strong person. He put up a good fight but was called home on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Meek was preceded in death by a devoted cousin (Jimmie Dibble).
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Crystal; three children Daelyn, Christian, & Paris; mother, Catherine Woodson (Jerry Lee); father, Barry Jordan (Denise); siblings, Anthony, Kiwan, Jerrine, Eric, Shanell, & Janine; two brothers in-law, Teddy and Corey; a devoted, grandmother, Catherine 'Peachie'; two devoted aunts, Ethel and Melissa; devoted uncle, Arthur Woodson (Carmelita), an uncle, Guy Crenshaw; devoted mother in-laws Wanda Franklin (William); father-in-laws, Wayne Snead, Sr. (Connie); a nephew, Jhamari; a niece, London; devoted cousins, Tanya, BreAnne, Wayne (Jr.), Terrada, Rodriquez, Rebecca, Demonte, Michaela, Tyauna, Daryn, and Kamyrus; friends, William Opie, Bob (Darlene) and Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
