Obituary of Della Crawford Scott
Please share a memory of Della to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Della Crawford Scott was born on April 28, 1969 to Emma Diggs Crawford Woods and the late Lynwood Thomas Crawford in Albemarle County, Virginia.
At a young age, Della confessed Christ and became a member of the Mount Eagle Baptist Church. She attended and graduated Waynesboro High School. After high school, she enlisted in the United States National Guard Service.
Della worked for Sickling Management Service as a Claim Adjuster who enjoyed her job and helping others. She was an avid reader who enjoyed dancing, laughing, and spending time with her family.
On December 19, 2013, Della transitioned into eternal rest in Richmond, Virginia. As surely as we will miss her presence with us on earth, we can be sure that the angels in heaven have rejoiced to see one of God's daughters return home.
Memories of our loved one will be cherished by her husband, Tyrone Scott; two children William Crawford and Rosa Scott; a stepson, Patrick; a stepdaughter, Montoria and her son Aiden; her parents William and Emma Wood; one brother, James Page Jr., and his five children (Tamika, Jamie, James III, Jessica, and Javanna); two sisters: Monica (Thomas) Coles and their two children (Dramona and Afton) and Lynda Crawford; one sister-in-law, Brenda (Michael) Taylor; six brothers-in-law: Randy Scott, Gary (Annette) Scott, Jerry Scott, Larry (Lucille) Scott, James Scott, and Sandy Scott; two uncles: Doswell (Mary) Diggs Jr. and Preston Taylor; two aunts: Mildred White and Gwen Fisher; her best friend, Carolyn Chapman; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
