Obituary of Odessa Donikin Clark

Odessa Donikin Clark, a daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Donikin, Sr. and Willie Jane Watkins Donikin, was born August 9, 1953. At an early age she was converted, baptized and joined Little Zion Baptist Church in Powhatan, Virginia. She attended Powhatan County Public Schools. For many years she served as a CNA and private caregiver to many. She specialized in cooking, giving an encouraging word and bringing laughter to all she came in contact with. Odessa departed this life on December 6, 2013 at Laurels at Willow Creek in Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Charles. She leaves to cherish fond memories; two sons, Lamont and Sherard Clark; two daughters, Beatrice Clark and Theresa Shands; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Woodrow Wilson Donikin, Jr.; two sisters, Bettie Boatwright and Sylvia Ford; two uncles, Jimmy Donikin and Lloyd Donikin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
