Obituary of Herbert Nathan Brown

Herbert Nathan Brown was born on November 11, 1953 in Powhatan, VA to Randall Brown, Sr. & Lucille Hill Brown. He attended the public schools in Powhatan County. At an early age Herbert gave his life to Christ and joined Little Zion Baptist Church. Throughout his years God gifted him with his hands. Herbert was a well know carpenter who had set skills and assisted several projects within his community as well as surrounding counties. Herbert enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking during his leisure time. One of his favorite teams to watch was the Chicago Bears. Herbert also had a great personality and very direct sense of humor. He always had a careful spirit and would never let on if something was bothering him. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Barbara, Helen, and Cynthia. On Monday, December 17, 2012 Herbert departed this life at Henrico Doctor Hospital, Henrico, VA. He leaves to cherish his memories: stepfather, John Brown; brothers, Randall Brown Jr., (Helen Mitchum) and Michael Todd Brown; sisters, Priscilla Brown Wilkerson (Roland), Brenda Brown Cosby (Jerry), Rhonda Brown Patterson (Charles), Charlotte Brown Jackson (James); brothers-in-law, Doff Edwards and Ernest Jackson; uncles, Jake Hill (Katherine) and Glenn Hill; aunts, Pauline Hill Trent (Franklin) and Sally Hill Sanderson and a number of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed, we loved him but God loved him best.
