Obituary of Clevester Williams
Please share a memory of Clevester to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Clevester Williams, Sr., the sweet and gentle soul known to many as "Butch" and "Pop". He was born to the late John and Sally Clay Williams in Brooksville, Mississippi.
He attended the local public school system in which he graduated from high school. He then went on to join the United States Air Force and served four years of Active Duty and four years in the Reserve.
Clevester was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Everyone will miss his loving kindness and his special traits - (his love for candy, especially peppermints), (him asking if you had a pound of $100 bills), (his humming), and (his weekly 2 Powerball tickets).
He was preceded in death by: mother, Sallie Clay Williams; father, John Williams; brother, John D Williams; and son, Clevester Williams Jr.
His sweet memories will be cherished by his humble wife Carrie Williams in which they would have been married 12 days shy of 57 years.
