Constance Marian Crump was born on November 15, 1954 to theEdmund and Louise Brown Crump. Connie attended Luther P. Jackson, in Cumberland, Virginia. Connie joined New Hope Baptist Church in Cartersville, VA at a early age. It is there that she faithfully attended Sunday School and served on the Usher Board until her health began to fail. Connie was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a genuine love for people which was evident in her daily acts of kindness towards others. She could always be found with a smile on her face and a willingness to help others. No matter the situation or circumstance, she never complained or seemed to give much thought to the negative. She will always be remembered for her humble spirit and compassion for others. She loved to shoot pool and play softball which she continued to engage in for as long as her health allowed. She is also preceded in death by two daughters Solange and Yolanda Sims.
